Import from other applications

PhraseExpander can read and import the shortcuts defined in many applications.

PhraseExpander can import phrases from the following applications:

–Microsoft Word Autocorrections

–Microsoft Word Autotexts / Building Blocks

–TextExpander for Mac

–Autohotkey script

–Breevy

–Direct Access Command Pack

–InstantText glossary

–Shorthand dictionaries

–Shortkey data file

–SmartType Assistant

–SpeedType

–Texter

–Type Pilot

To import from other applications

1.From the Glossaries tab, click on Add Glossary

2.Select From Other Applications

3.Select the application you want to import data from

4.Once you confirm, PhraseExpander will show you the Import Confirmation dialog
A new glossary containing your imported data is created

NOTE: According to the source data chosen, you can have either Autocorrect glossaries or Phrase glossaries.
